Unity is inspired by two people united in love. Two silver gilt circles represent the essence of each person, 23.5 carat gold has been laid where the circles overlay - chosen for its purity and value - representing the strength and preciousness that love creates together. A dark patina and surrounding organic cracks represent the worries and stresses of the outside world, creeping into the individual circles but not into the golden, unified centre - the strength and beauty of Unity.
Entirely handcrafted at every stage of creation, from hand drawing, hand carving every intersecting geometric form to hand cracking each and every organic fracture within the gesso surface.
