Named after the Gaelic word Afèith, meaning a fine watercourse through peat, this finish features a deliberately hand-cracked gesso surface with a delicate, natural rhythm. The medium-scale fracture pattern mirrors vein-like lines found in nature, offering an organic but composed appearance.
Part of our Serenity collection, Afèith omits metal leaf to let the purity of the gesso take centre stage. It can be applied across furniture, wrapped seamlessly around edges, or used on flat and curved panels for sculptural wall pieces
